A jury has recommended a 12 year sentence for one of three teenagers accused of beating and mugging a man in a Columbia parking garage.
The July 6 incident was caught on surveillance camera.
Adam Taylor, 25, was walking through the garage when a group of teenagers came up behind him, knocked him to the ground and started beating him. While Taylor was on the ground, struggling to get back up, the group mugged him.
Prosecutors said the teens were playing a game called "Knock Out King".
A Boone County jury found Charles Williams III, 18, guilty and recommended he spend 12 years in prison. He will be formally sentenced Oct. 26.
Two others are also facing charges.
