How I Met Your Mother has entered season #5. I'm lobbying hard for them to change the name of the show to How I Didn't Meet Your Mother Yet.
Good thing the couple on the show met in the 90's. In relationships these days, by year five the couple would be well on their way to divorce.
The show has a character named Marshal. Do you think if this was a Canadian show his character would be named constable? If he played a cop do you thing he would show us his RCMPness?
On Cougartown, Courtney Cox plays a 40 y/o who has son in his late teens. I'm guessing Cougar Town will be the name of the living room of the 40 year old girls club who get together during the show to drool over the 18 year old boy.
I like that women are empowering themselves with the word cougar when there were so many words to choose from. I don't think you'd find a lot of college guys bragging about being picked up by a tea cup poodle.
(Ironic that one of the hottest woman on Television has us all watching Cox.)
Thursdays we have the show Community.
Isn't it nice to see a Chevy on TV we didn't bail out.
The previews for the show liken it to Breakfast Club. You can tell economic times are different...even the library at the community college is smaller than the 80's high school library.
